Percutaneos Hydrotomy
"Percutaneous Hydrotomy is a remarkable technique to regenerate vertebral discs and joints with arthrosis.
It only takes a few sessions to notice an improvement in pain."
In most cases of back pain, the intravertebral discs tend to sag as they become dehydrated.
Percutaneous Hydrotomy allows the rehydration of the intravertebral discs, which re-inflate, thus recovering their original shape and state, the nerves that were trapped are released and, after a few sessions, most patients notice a significant improvement in their condition or even the disappearance of pain.
But this treatment technique does not only apply to spinal problems (dehydration of the discs, herniated discs, narrowing of the spinal canal, osteoarthritis, etc.), applying very specific protocols, it also treats and relieves:
-
Bone calcifications
-
Postoperative fibrosis and scarring
-
Joint pain
-
Osteoarthritis (knees, hips, shoulders, etc.)
-
Neuralgia
-
Sciatica
-
Carpal tunnel
-
Migraines
-
Stress, anxiety, mild depression, sleep disorders
-
Lumbar sciatica
-
Cellulitis
-
Neuralgia
-
Buzz
-
Hallux Valgus (foot)
-
Morton's disease
-
Degenerative Pathologies
-
Algoma-dysfunctional Syndrome of the Temporomandibular Joint
-
Fractures
-
Spinal compression
-
Narrowing of the Spinal Canal
-
Arthrosis of the fingers
-
Among others
But how does it work?
Percutaneous Hydrotomy consists of injecting precisely a physiological saline solution (0.9% NaCl) subcutaneously or intradermally in combination with other products such as:
-
Oligo elements
-
Magnesium
-
Group B vitamins
-
Fat-soluble vitamins
-
EDTA (Ethyl-Diamino-Tetra-Acetic)
This is due to loco-regional diffusion, to treat a lesion / wear in a targeted way.
It also allows the secondary administration of therapeutic drugs according to their scientifically established pharmacodynamic properties.
The "hydrotomy cushion" thus created constitutes a therapeutic vehicle for products used with a loco-regional distribution to treat an injury accurately.
With the objective, depending on the choice of products and protocols:
-
Extracellular hydration
-
Cell micronutrition
-
Microcirculation and cell regeneration
-
Balance building - cell destruction
-
Cell detox
Hydrotomy is a terrain treatment, not a symptom treatment.
It takes care of the terrain and the cause, that is, we hydrate, we do the so-called "wash out" therapeutic washes.
When the treatments are over, we know that the results are permanent because the terrain has changed.
The role of Water and Skin in Percutaneous Hydrotomy
-
Water: it is the best vehicle for local therapeutic support, at the cellular level, for the injection of products. Supports trace elements and minerals in a true therapeutic cell washing.
-
The Skin: constitutes the first surface filtration organ. It also has a role of microcirculation and immunogen. The Hydrotomy cushion created, acts as a shock absorber for the passage of drugs through the systemic route, requiring smaller doses of product (action directed to the injury).

Percutaneous Hydrotomy Techniques
-
Hand-Syringe Technique
The Mesochelion Protocol, which consists of the deep intradermal injection of different products.
Mesochelion necessarily uses a large dilution for its practice (notion of Percutaneous Hydrotomy), this dilution obeys 2 particular requirements:
-
Use of EDTA at very low doses
-
The intention of Percutaneous Hydrotomy is to allow hydration or periarticular lavage in order to solve the problem of ph, viscosity, etc.
-
Mesoperfusion Technique
This technique is performed with an infusion device. It consists of multi-point intra-dermal injection of 12, 18 or 24 simultaneously in one or more regions.
-
Mesovaccination Technique
Mainly used in inflammatory and infectious diseases.
Most allergies, inflammatory or infectious diseases and recurrence are immune disorders. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to strengthen the immune balance by injecting a microdose of the polyvalent and diluted vaccine to cause the appearance of antibodies locally on the mucous membrane.

Common Questions
-
Is Percutaneous Hydrotomy painful?
A priori no, rather unpleasant as any injection, but it benefits from the use of diluted local anesthesia, which makes the session more comfortable for the patient. It is the same for the Mesoperfusion.
-
How long does the session last?
Hydrotomy with the Hand-syringe technique takes 5 to 10 minutes. However, at Spiralis the ideology is that of Integrative Medicine, and structural correction is always made before the technique, which significantly increases the treatment time.
Mesoperfusion can last from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the absorption of the product by the patient's body, which varies from person to person.
-
What is the rythm of the sessions?
In principle, once a week at the beginning (4 to 6 sessions), as indicated. In acute states, there may be a need for closer sessions. It is the same for Mesoperfusion.
-
Does Hydrotomy treat temporarily or permanently? (Osteoarthritis for example)
A priori, it is necessary to deal with "the terrain". In Osteoarthritis, most of the time we are in the presence of a degenerative state, so it is necessary to modify this imbalance through therapy. It is not a matter of masking the painful symptom, there is no use of anti-inflammatories (except for their microcirculatory, antiplatelet and anticoagulant effects in this specific context) or analgesics, but a regenerative treatment to treat the causes, not the symptoms. Pain should not be masked to guarantee a lasting effect. In addition, there is a persistent effect of the treatment.
-
Should maintenance be done?
Yes, from time to time for Mesovaccination like all other vaccines, as the effects may diminish over time. In Chronic Osteoarthritis, reinforcements are also needed to fight degeneration.
-
Should I take my exams?
Yes! If possible, it is important to bring the latest exams, reports and analyzes for evaluation before treatment to the appointment.
-
What is the price per session?
The price varies depending on the technique applied. In general, in the Hand-syringe technique, prices vary between 45€ and 50€. In the Mesoperfusion technique, prices vary between 58€ and 65€. In all Percutaneous Hydrotomy treatments performed in our clinic, regardless of the technique applied, there is always a structural correction using osteopathic techniques that become essential to achieve fast and effective results.
